  1. grab a large pot and fill it about halfway and let come to a boil
  2. while water is heating, begin peeling potatoes and cutting them into fourths or sixths, depending on your preference
  3. peel outer layers off carrots and chop according to preference ( i like to use the large stalks of carrots and cut them into discs)
  4. let the potatoes and the carrots cook in the boiling water because they are the firmest vegetables and will will give them a headstart towards softening
  5. i usually add a vegetable stock block from knorr at this point. adds more flavor
  6. after about 15 minutes add in all other ingredients and turn the fire on a medium temperature and let cook with the diced half onion
  7. take 1 pound of hamberger meat and cook it untill no longer pink. drain as much grease as you can from the meat and then put it back in the pan. add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic and let the meat absorb the flavors
  8. add the chipoltle seasonings untill your satisfied with the taste. add the meat into the pot and let cook for 20 minute's approximatly.
  9. add any other seasonings you feel you would like in the dish. ( i usually put slap ya mamma, or tony's, with pepper and salt and occaisionally some roasted bell pepper and garlic chucks.
  10. let cool and enjoy with bread :)
